Privacy Policy — Barakat AI

Barakat AI ("the app", "we", "us") is a personal finance management application developed by Leimo AI Technologies FZ-LLC. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
1. Data we collect
Account data (when you sign up)
- Email address (only if you choose email signup)
- Display name (optional)
- Firebase user ID (auto-generated, internal use only)
- For sign-in via Google/Apple: name + email returned by the provider
Financial data (you provide)
- Transactions: amount, category, date, optional comment, optional store name
- Accounts: name, balance, currency
- Goals, budgets, debts, loans — as you create them
- Receipt photos (only when you scan a receipt — temporarily processed, not permanently stored on our servers)
Device data (minimal)
- Push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) — to send you reminders you opted in to
- Approximate timezone (from device, not GPS) — to format dates correctly
- Language preference (local only)
What we DO NOT collect
- ❌ Location in the background. Precise location is requested only when you open fuel prices or the map, to show nearby stations, and is not stored on our servers
- ❌ Contacts — never requested
- ❌ Photos other than the specific receipt you choose to scan
- ❌ Browsing history
- ❌ Analytics SDKs (no Firebase Analytics, no third-party analytics)
The free version shows ads; ad networks use the device advertising identifier, see section 4a.
2. Why we collect it
- To provide the service: store your financial data so you can access it across devices
- AI features: receipt photos, the text of your voice entry and aggregated spending summaries are sent to Google Gemini API only to parse or analyze that request. For the advisor, your question, conversation context and a summary including labels you entered are sent. The use of inputs by the provider depends on its service terms; Google does not use prompts to improve its models when the API project has active paid billing.
- Notifications: reminders for transactions, budgets, prayer times (only if you enable Islamic mode)
- Family Circle: if you create or join a family, members can see shared accounts/budgets/debts you opt in to share
- Social Debts: if you create a debt with another user by their BRK code, both users see that debt
3. Where we store it
- Firestore (Google Cloud, EU region): all user data is stored here, encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS 1.3)
- Firebase Auth: handles authentication, password hashing (we never see your password)
- VPS in DigitalOcean (Frankfurt): only hosts the static website and serves as API proxy — does not permanently store user data
- Receipt photos: uploaded directly to Gemini API for parsing, response returned in <30 seconds, original photo not retained on our servers
4. Who we share it with
- Google Firebase: infrastructure (storage, auth, push notifications) — bound by Google's privacy terms
- Google Gemini: AI processing (receipt photos, voice transcripts, aggregated transaction summaries) — subject to the provider's data-processing terms
- Stripe / RevenueCat: payment processing (subscriptions) — they see your payment info, we do not store card numbers
- Family members: only data you explicitly mark as shared
- Ad networks (free version only): Google AdMob outside Russia, Yandex Advertising Network in Russia — see section 4a
- ❌ We do NOT sell data. Your financial records, transactions, receipts and messages are never shared with ad networks or advertisers.
4a. Advertising in the free version
- The free version shows a banner ad. Barakat PRO has no ads.
- Outside Russia ads are served by Google AdMob (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd). In Russia ads are served by the Yandex Advertising Network (YANDEX LLC). The network is chosen by the country set in the app.
- The ad network receives the device advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA), IP address, approximate location derived from it, device model and OS version, and data about ad views and clicks. It uses them to show, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud.
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: before any ads are requested, we ask for your consent through Google's certified consent form. You can decline, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Legal → Ad privacy settings.
- iOS: personalised ads are shown only if you allow tracking in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; otherwise ads are non-personalised.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the system settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- Privacy policies: Google advertising, Yandex.
5. Optional features
- Camera access: only when you tap "Scan Receipt"
- Microphone access: only when you use voice input. Speech is transcribed on your device; the resulting text is sent to Gemini API to turn it into transactions.
6. Your rights
- Access: all your data is visible in the app at any time
- Export: Settings → Backup → Export to JSON
- Deletion: Settings → Delete Account — permanently removes your account, all transactions, and FCM tokens. This is irreversible.
- Correction: edit any transaction or account directly in the app
- Withdraw consent: uninstalling the app stops data collection; to also delete server data, use Delete Account first

- CCPA (California): we don't sell data; you have the right to delete via the in-app button
7. Data retention
- While your account exists: data kept indefinitely (it's your data)
- After Delete Account: removed within 30 days from all systems
- Anonymous price data (publicPrices): aggregated and retained 90 days, then deleted automatically
8. Children
Barakat AI is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Parents who believe their child has registered: contact us and we will delete the account.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in-app on next launch.

Данные аккаунта (при регистрации)
- Email (если выбрали регистрацию по email)

Финансовые данные (вы вводите сами)
- Транзакции: сумма, категория, дата, комментарий, магазин

- Фото чеков — обрабатываются для распознавания и не хранятся на наших серверах долгосрочно
Минимум данных устройства
- Push token (Firebase) — только если вы включили уведомления
- Часовой пояс (для форматирования дат, не GPS)
- Язык интерфейса (локально)
Что мы НЕ собираем
- ❌ Геолокация в фоне. Точное местоположение запрашивается только когда вы открываете цены на топливо или карту, чтобы показать ближайшие АЗС, и не сохраняется на наших серверах
- ❌ Контакты
- ❌ Фото кроме чеков, которые вы сами выбираете
- ❌ История браузера
- ❌ SDK аналитики (без Firebase Analytics)
В бесплатной версии показывается реклама; рекламные сети используют рекламный идентификатор устройства, см. раздел 4а.
2. Зачем мы собираем эти данные
- Чтобы хранить ваши финансовые данные и синхронизировать между устройствами
- AI: фото чека, текст голосовой записи и агрегированные сводки трат отправляются в Google Gemini только для разбора этого запроса. Для советника также передаются вопрос, контекст разговора и названия, введённые пользователем. Обработка данных провайдером зависит от условий сервиса: Google не использует запросы для улучшения моделей при активном платном биллинге проекта API.
- Напоминания (транзакции, бюджеты, исламский режим — время намазов)
- Семейный круг — только данные, которые вы явно отметили как shared
- Социальные долги — обе стороны видят долг по BRK-коду
3. Где хранятся данные
- Firestore (Google Cloud, регион EU) — шифрование at-rest и in-transit (TLS 1.3)
- Firebase Auth — пароль хешируется на серверах Google, мы его никогда не видим
- VPS в DigitalOcean (Франкфурт) — только статический сайт и API proxy, без хранения пользовательских данных
- Фото чеков — отправляются напрямую в Gemini API, результат возвращается за <30 секунд, исходные фото у нас не остаются
4. С кем делимся
- Google Firebase — инфраструктура (privacy terms Google)
- Google Gemini — обработка ИИ (фото чеков, текст голосовых записей, агрегированные сводки трат) — обработка по условиям провайдера
- Stripe / RevenueCat — платежи (мы не храним номера карт)
- Члены семьи — только то, что вы сами поделили
- Рекламные сети (только бесплатная версия): Google AdMob за пределами России, Рекламная сеть Яндекса в России — см. раздел 4а
- ❌ Мы НЕ продаём данные. Финансовые записи, операции, чеки и сообщения никогда не передаются рекламным сетям и рекламодателям.
4а. Реклама в бесплатной версии
- В бесплатной версии показывается рекламный баннер. В Barakat PRO рекламы нет.
- За пределами России рекламу показывает Google AdMob (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd). В России — Рекламная сеть Яндекса (ООО «ЯНДЕКС»). Сеть выбирается по стране, указанной в приложении.
- Рекламная сеть получает рекламный идентификатор устройства (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA), IP-адрес и примерное местоположение по нему, модель устройства и версию ОС, данные о показах и нажатиях. Они нужны, чтобы показывать и ограничивать рекламу, считать показы и бороться с мошенничеством.
- ЕЭЗ, Великобритания и Швейцария: до запроса рекламы мы спрашиваем согласие через сертифицированную форму Google. Можно отказаться, а выбор можно изменить в любой момент: Настройки → Документы → Настройки рекламы.
- iOS: персонализированная реклама показывается, только если вы разрешили отслеживание в запросе Apple App Tracking Transparency; иначе реклама неперсонализированная.
- Android: рекламный идентификатор можно сбросить или удалить в системных настройках (Настройки → Конфиденциальность → Реклама).
- Политики конфиденциальности: реклама Google, Яндекс.
5. Опциональные функции
- Камера — только при сканировании чека
- Микрофон — только для голосового ввода: речь распознаётся на устройстве, а полученный текст отправляется в Gemini для разбора в операции
6. Ваши права
- Доступ — все данные видны в приложении
- Экспорт — Настройки → Backup → JSON
- Удаление — Настройки → Удалить аккаунт (необратимо)
- Исправление — редактируете прямо в приложении
- Отзыв согласия — удалите приложение или Delete Account

7. Срок хранения
- Пока аккаунт существует — бессрочно (это ваши данные)
- После Delete Account — удаление в течение 30 дней
- Анонимные данные о ценах (publicPrices) — 90 дней, затем автоматическая очистка
8. Дети
Barakat AI не предназначен для детей младше 13. Если несовершеннолетний зарегистрировался, родители могут связаться с нами для удаления.
9. Изменения
При существенных изменениях обновим дату "Обновлено" и уведомим в приложении при следующем запуске.

لتقديم خدمة إدارة المالية، وتحليل الإيصالات والإدخال الصوتي وملخصات الإنفاق عبر Google Gemini لهذا الطلب فقط (يشمل المستشار سؤالك وسياق المحادثة والتسميات التي أدخلتها؛ تخضع معالجة البيانات لشروط مقدم الخدمة)، والإشعارات، والدائرة العائلية، والديون الاجتماعية.

- الوصول الكامل في التطبيق
- التصدير عبر الإعدادات → Backup
- الحذف الكامل عبر "حذف الحساب" (لا يمكن التراجع)
